Atlanta trip

We made a trip to Atlanta, GA for Robbie's class' staff ride. They are supposed to go to a historic battle and learn about the battle that took place in that area and a bunch of other things that they couldn't really do with the location that was picked. So they just visited the area and learned about it and we were done! So we used the time for a mini vacation and went to the zoo, outlet malls, IKEA and just relaxing around taking a break! So here are a few pictures from our trip :-)

There was a show going on at the zoo so we stayed and watched for a bit

The next home of the Wells' is.....

Ft. Bliss, Texas!!!! We found out a few weeks ago that we are heading to El Paso, Texas and Robbie will be stationed at Ft. Bliss next. We still have yet to hear when we will be doing this move but it won't be until after May 17th since that is when he graduates the Career Course. At Ft. Bliss Robbie will be the Assistant Aviation officer for the Brigade Aviation Element (4/1AD)

We have looked at things in the area, I have found a few mall with stores I recognize! We have also looked at a few houses and the layouts of the different builders in the area. Since the area is being built up it may be cheaper to build, but we are still in the early stages of looking so nothing has been decided. We were originally wanting to live on post but there aren't any available homes right now.

This post has had some MAJOR reconstruction and there are so many new things there. Which also means they haven't rebuilt enough homes to meet the demands of all the new incoming people. There is a fancy new 'mall' like building on post and you can check it out here: http://freedomcrossingatfortbliss.com/ There are also many other things to do on post but that one I am really excited about since it will all be so close together:-)

Yes, Ft. Bliss/El Paso is on the border of Juarez, Mexico but we have researched and El Paso is one of the safest cities in the United States! So that is good news, we will still be searching for a house that is on the northern part of post just in case!

Other than that we really don't have much info on the area. You're welcome to search it and let us know what you find :-)
