July update:-)

I didn't know what to call this one other than July update, it has many random things in it:-)

We have been working on the rehearsal dinner lately, it will be at Dave and Buster's on friday the 13th (it is a good day for us:-) ) I emailed the lady in charge and hopefully we can get some of our questions answered so we can start making things set in stone ish. Robbie is contacting Lisa from Pinnacle with a bunch of questions we have and we are waiting on a response from her also. So i guess I don't have all that much exact information to tell all of you:-) But updating is fun because I feel like we are getting things done and I love to check things off of the countdown list I have.

Jen has been working on our save the dates and invitations. So far we have the save the date design and one possible invitation design. They are both really nice, I love them:-)

Other than that I can't think of anything else we have done. We are just working on many random little things that eventually will be put together and make more sense.

I hope everyone is doing well! I will give Robbie a hug from all of you when I see him in 35 days (not that I'm counting)

Short update on wedding things

Well we now have someone to make our save the dates, invites and programs:-) I asked my brothers wife, Jen the other day and she said yes. I'm super excited about it. I sent her the picture Robbie and I picked to put on the save the dates and she is gonna start working on them sometime soon:-) We are still working on the guest list, we had the number down and then I found a list for my side that had people I hadn't added yet...so we are back up to where we were before. I am going to work on it with my mom hopefully tonight and get the number back down. Thats all I really have but it's a lot of stuff that is now taken care of:-)
By the way today is 13 months until our wedding:-) Next month it will be a year away!!!!!!! Can't wait!

Just a few things oh and where we are going for our honeymoon..thats right I found out:-)

So this week I told Robbie I wanted to get the guest list finished...well we added everyone...and the grand total is...421...oops:-) We just have too many friends:-) So needless to say we are going to work on that list and try to get it down to a smaller number that the hall can actually hold:-)

Also I have no idea why it has taken me this long to put this on here but I am now....I found out when I was in Alaska a few weeks ago that we are going to....SANDALS!!!!!!!!! YAY! No I don't know which one, I only know we are going to a sandals because I accidentally found it. No I wasn't searching his computer or through his drawers, he was sitting right next to me. He is moving from his current apartment into a cabin of some kind and had all of the possible cabins as links on his desktop on his computer. So I was clicking on them and looking at them to see what he was thinking about moving into. Well there was one icon that said "wedding stuff " so I said what is that? and he said I don't know click on it. So I clicked on it and up popped a screen that had an email and a confirmation number and it said sandals all over it:-) He quickly tried to cover the screen and closed the window. I asked him if he wanted me to tell him what I saw or pretend as though I never saw anything. So he said tell me what you saw and I got super excited and said "We're going to Sandals!!!!!!!!!!!" and then kept repeating it over and over for the next hour...ok day or so:-)

Upcoming things..

Well as you can see we don't have much going on for the next few months:-( We are working on the guest list now. Once that is finished I want to look for photographers and D J's. I am going to go soon to look at different florists to find flowers I like and to also find out who can make the bouquet I want (which I'm sure most of them can...it really doesn't seem hard but I don't work with flowers so I don't know:-) ) My goal now is to get things taken care of that need booked so we won't have to worry about finding someone and then they don't have the date available.

The 2 ideas in the what we are up to and planning list are just things we have talked about doing and really would like to be able to, but I don't have any vacation days left and he is trying to save for our honeymoon...so they are up in the air still and we won't know for a while if they are possible. The other things are what we for sure want to do, but that also goes back to days off. I will keep you posted on that kind of stuff, esp. for the times he will be here:-)

I will say that the countdown I have hopefully will change because I don't like that it says 'I'm' and not 'We are'...but it's the first one I have found...so for now it will stay:-)

June Trip to Alaska 2009

Well I was able to come up to Alaska for a little over a week so here are a few pictures from our adventures so far:-)

I made him birthday signs and put them up once he was asleep.  I put the signs on the wall outside his bedroom door so he would see them when he woke up and went to get ready for work :-)
