Reception Hall in Grove City

So I have now added another place to the list and its somewhere that I have wanted since the beginning, but there was someone penciled in on August 14, 2010. However I just couldn't give up on it and emailed the lady and guess what?! its available!!!!!! It is in Grove City so that will be perfect for the guests not to have to travel between wedding and reception. It is located at the Pinnacle Golf Course. The website has only one picture of the ballroom and its small so you can't really see it, but I have been in a wedding that was there and it is amazing!!!!! There are multiple hotels near it so there will be many choices (we will prob still have a block of rooms at one) and I pretty much love it!

Robbie however does not know that it is now open because he is doing field training this week and can't use his phone or computer:-( So he does not know the extremely good news! I called and left him a message but he will not get it until friday at some point.

Anyways I'm super excited because this is the place I wanted for many many reasons and now I'm going to go on a tour and take pictures so Robbie can see and decide what he thinks. Then we can compare to the other places on our list and see what is best. Now it's off to bed I go...that is if I can sleep after getting this amazing news!

Reception Halls

So my mission is to find a reception hall by well I'm not sure but soon:-) I went today to Creekside Conference and Event Center to go on a tour. It was really nice! I took lots of pictures so Robbie can feel as though he went also. I am loading all of the pictures into emails for him now and it took 11 emails...I think he will get the idea:-) If you are wanting to get an idea of what it looks like you can go to www.creeksidecec.com. It is not too far from Easton, and the area is really pretty. I am also going to visit The Vault (downtown Columbus on Gay St.) and Confluence Park. We have a few others but I have not contacted them yet. I did really love the Hilton at Easton, but knew that it would be expensive. I never imagine it would be a $15,000 minimum for the room I wanted...so that is definately out. That is an insane amount of money for a reception. I couldn't imagine spending that on just the reception! The best part is that the other ballroom is a $30,000 minimum! So there is an update on what is going on. It was fun going to see Creekside today. I hope to have a place by May so when Robbie is here I can take him to see it in person and not just pictures. Hope all is well with everyone and I will update when we get more planned.

Well I thought it would be good to have a place for updates for those of you who neither of us see on a regular basis. I had this on theknot.com but I didn't like doing updates on that site so I created this one. I thought it would just be easier. So here it is:-)

I turned in the paper for the church last week and will know soon if it's not going to work, but I'm sure it will be fine since it's not for 17 more months.

We have asked the parents and now have a ring bearer and a flower girl. See Wedding Party Page.

I have asked 2 of my bridesmaids, Stephanie Day and Kadi Hall, if they will be in the wedding and and both said yes. Two down 3 to go:-) Robbie I don't believe has asked anyone yet, but thats ok we still have a while. I also have asked my friend Jaci to be my Matron of honor. She isn't married yet but will be July 4 of this year. She will also be Mrs. Wells:-) For details on how I know all of them go to theknot.com site and it's all on there!

Currently we are both looking at reception sites that we like and want to look at in person (well I will and then take tons of pictures to show him so he can see it also) I have received emails from 2 so far, one already has someone penciled in and the other is open. I have found a place that I absolutely love and we are waiting to hear back from them with prices and all of the important things before I get too attached...We have a few places picked out now that I am going to make appointments to go look at soon. Then we will hopefully be able to pick one for sure within the next month!

I HAVE MY DRESS!!!! Some of you have seen it and if you have seen it then you are one of the few, if you have not seen it I'm sorry but you will have to wait til the wedding day (with the exception of Julie who was not able to come to Coshocton the weekend I was up there with it...You can see it before:-) )

I got my ring sized and it fits so well now and I'm not worried everytime I wash my hands:-)

One last thing...I love him:-)
